Pondskaters doing good work!
I was watching skaters on a large puddle and was pleased to see what these two had caught for lunch.

Great behavioural shot there, Gerel. They'll go after anything that drops in. Strong predators, aren't they?!

Yes they're fierce little critturs.

Lunch is a Haematopota pluvialis aka notch horned cleg aka annoying little biting *******.
