Identification please mystery fly.

I was watching mimeas equestris dragging prey into holes when this fly appeaed and disappraered down the same hole.

At first I thought it was a flesh fly but it was between half and a third of the size of a flesh fly.

Can anyine help with idenity please. My insect book suggests graphamyia maculata but clearly I am not convinced,

May be a Senotainia, a kind of flesh-fly associated with aculeates.

Another species Metopia campestris is worth a look it looks very much like this one to me.
