| | Wasp Nest Identification? saw several pine cone like nests in a fir(?) tree ,light green in colour with lots of medium sized wasps/hoverflys around .Any ideas for i.d. Camera battery flat!!! |

| | | Re: Wasp Nest Identification? Above the stem and looked papery just like green pine cones.Couldn't see what insects were doing,toofar away but dead one on window cills looked like medium sized wasps/hoverfly.The nests stood on the branches about half way along
