Bristletail?

Hi all. I found this lil guy running up a sea wall near Minehead. It was approx 12-14mm long not including cerci. I think it is a Bristletail of some kind?

Two almost identical species Petrobius maritimus and P.brevistylis so I would leave it as Petrobius species.

Thank you Dogghound. What would the differences be? (Im guessing its a microscope job!) Surprised how much larger they are than Silverfish

Yep microscope job. These are very primitive insects and not ones ive really delved to deeply into so I wouldnt know the exact diffrences for seperating them, although I do know they are slight and not likely to be achievable from a photo, both species are just as abundant as each other to make it harder.
