The black/white beetles are Varied Carpet Beetles, Anthrenus verbasci. The bee looks like an Andrena sp. to me.

Thank you, Jason! These carpet beetles are certainly varied in colouration.I've never seen them on my carpets though.

Pleasure! To the best of my knowledge, in the UK we have four of the Anthrenus genera. I believe they only lay eggs in the carpet - the larvae being known as Woolly Bears - and the adults eat pollen, etc. outside.
