| | | Help, can anyone identify this Damselfly? Took this picture of rather lovely Damselfly today, i am fairly sure that it's an Emerald Damselfly of one type or another, but can't find any comparable pictures online and its driving me slightly mad! Any suggestions of good websites for identifying dragonflys/damselflys would also be a great help. Thank you. |

| | Re: Help, can anyone identify this Damselfly? Thank you for the reply, the website link and the welcome. I thought it probably was but in all the pictures i could find the Damselfly looked more metallic than in my picture and not knowing was really annoying me. I hope no-one minds but more unidentified beasties may follow if i can just get some halfway decent pictures |

With so many variables between males, females and juveniles I frequently struggle with my confusion over these species. |

This site itself is a good guide as well, can't be sure if all the British Damselfly and Dragonflies are represented on here but there can't be many that aren't. | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
