Small/Large White?

Which is this and What's the difference?

Large white are bigger and with more pronounced black markings
And small white with lesser pronounced markings.
large white is about 16mm bigger in wingspan than the small white.

Yep Large White currently liking my nasturtiums

I am always frustrated by whites, sometimes larges are very apparent in flight, with the dark markings and a brighter white than the smalls, but often whites are neither large or small: Green-veined are common in my area. I can only tell from close inspection once they alight (which is not often, as they seem to be very fussy butterflies!).

On the subject of what’s the difference between the two butterflies, the male small white has one black spot on wing & the large white male hasn’t
