| | | Another Bug Infestation Hi Everyone,
In my last post i showed what appeared to be a plant bug infested my a tick if some sort.
Today i was trying to photograph this great looking bug :
when i noticed that didn't seem to be walking properly and on closer inspection i saw this :
This is the second one i've photographed in three days, is it normal for bugs to become infested like this or is there something in my garden that's causing these infestations.
Any ideas appreciated.
Thanks.

| | | Re: Another Bug Infestation This is the egg of a Drynid wasp, some good information here (although in French) Parasitisme
The hopper might well be a Iassus lanio nymph which is common on oak.
Cheers

Tristan | Tristan, thanks for the link but my French is worse than my English but i'm sure i can find the same info in English somewhere.
I do have an oak in my garden, though on this occasion the nymph was amongst the leaves of a Crocosmia.
Thanks again, i'll see what i can find.
Cheers.
