All on one Rose bush - for ID

I wasnt sure if the caterpillars(larvae) were rose sawfly as I know they are local to this garden. Is the spider called a crab spider? I guessed a gall of some kind, but no idea what the other is and I've seen a number of them all that shape and greyish.

I think the larvae are Arge sp. - as you say rose sawfly. The gall is formed by a Diplolepis sp.; the larva looks like an empty pupal case of a hoverfly?

The pupal case has been prayed on by a parasitic hymenopteran most likely an ichneumonid.

Is that a hole then? I thought it was a bit of leaf laying on top. I seem to have a habit of finding things that have been subject to an attack by fungi or such.
