| | | Re: Two hoverflies please I would agree with the first image and say possible for the second but the image lacks clear detail so I wouldn't advise betting your house on that answer.
Definitely Eristalis (Drone Fly) but to my eye, the body looks a bit long and tapering so it might be E. pertinax instead. They are very similar and both occur in many colourations so a clearer leg shot would help. |

#2 is Eristalis pertinax, as Geoff says tapering tail but I can see the yellow section on the hind tibia.
