| | | Eat & be merry..... (on my rose bushes...!!!) Went out last night to check on various things in the garden when I came across loads of tiny green caterpillars, merrily munching their way through my rose bushes!!! Im sure my garden is a haven for just about anything, slugs, snails, beetles..... & Im convinced they tell all their 'mates' I dont use slug pellets etc & that I plant marigolds just for them to chomp on.... |

Thats them!.... I got loads of the little critters, (even though there's not much left to much now). They seem to grow at an alarming rate too. |

Looks like sawfly larvae to me - too many "feet" for a a caterpillar!
We try to keep our garden as wild as possible, too, and as a result have things like Cinnabar caterpilars... but the landlady just thinks we're lazy! | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
