Elephant Hawk?
hey

every year, we get some massive caterpillars in our bushes, and they turned out to then "grow" into Elephant Hawk Moths, but this year, no caterpillars, and no moths? does anyone know why they might not have umm "visited" this year?

The larvae feed mostly on Rosebay Willowherb - have you got rid of any of that recently?

I've noticed quite a dramatic increase in EHM's in my traps this year, not sure why? - good weather maybe?

Often also feed on Fuschias in gardens.

they were found in our Fuschias last year, and to my knowledge, we havent gotten rid of any other bushes or plants?
