found on a leaf near a pond (if that means anything). about 8-10mm long.



(apologies for the photo quality, it was dim and windy )

Looks like Aphrophora alni but im by no means an expert on these.

Certainly is A. alni - the keel combined with the arrangement of pale patches on the forewing margin are enough to ID it.
