help with a beetle ive found

hi everyone this is my first post i was cleaning my house last night well the living room and i moved a chair and one of my kids had thrown a book behind anyway as i moved the book i notice about 10-15 little beetles 3mm and brown black i caught them and put them in a jar lol to show hubby but they didn't seem bothered that i was trying to catch them last night i made some mash potatoes out of a packet and there was one in there and i empted the door and found another then this morning ive put the kettle on and there were three on my work top i will try to upload a picture but anyone got any ideas please

i tried to get the picture as best i could if you cant tell by the picture they have funny legs lol

i cant be sure, but that looks like a varied carpet beetle to me

it looks a bit similar but they are all brown no spots ive just squashed one and it looks like they have wings im really worried as i have 2 small children and im expecting i will try to get a better picture

These small domestic beetles are harmless to humans, so nothing to worry about, a better picture will help us establish what species they are and where they are comming from so the sooner the photo the sooner (hopefully) you can get rid of the problem.
