Be gentle this is my first attempt as a new member to add a thread (Ithink that is what it is called) to an image for identification.
This is the photograph of a moth that my wife photographed out on a very dry heathland
It was a poor flyer and tried to keep deep in the indergrowth preferably under under a leaf.
Hope this helps with identification

Just wish they would eat more of it as it is destrpying the habitat for the dartford warblers on the heath. |
