Thanks Mick for what looks like a very useful key. Unfortunately it hasn't enabled me to ID this one, and it doesn't include Rhag onycha nigriventris  Does this go under another name ?

I can't find any reference to R. nigriventris being on the British list - where are you getting the name from? |

Running through the key gets me to Rhagonycha limbata, which looks right from ones I've seen before. |

This Cantharid key is very good. If there are other keys around of similar usefulness, I would appreciate knowing about them so please post any you know of (not just beetles). Mick. |
