| | | Multi coloured beetle Id please? Today i came across this Beetle/Weevil?, anybody have an Idea what it is Please?
it had like a Pearlescent colour on its back (Green/Purple in the Light)

| | | Re: Multi coloured beetle Id please? Well I'm going to go a step more. In my Southwood and Leston, Calocoris roseomaculatus looks a good match. I'll probably get shot down in flames by the bug experts!

Or the Potato Capsid Closterotomus norwegicus; there's a great resource - the British Bugs website (Google it - I can't provide a hyperlink to it for some reason) that has some great photos of various bugs including this one. I think the two black dots you get on the pronotum (the bit behind the head) may not be visible in the glare in that area on Steve's photo.
I think Calocoris roseomaculatus has a dark line down the centre of the scutellum (the triangular bit of the body between the base of the wings).
PS In Southwood and Leston it's down as Calocoris norvegicus
