Not sure what this is. Found it in the house - a leg was missing & I think the cats may have been at it About 12mm long. Thanks.

Hi Peter,

It looks like a phantom cranefly from family Ptychopteridae, going by the swollen abdomen.

I agree with that Jason, and it looks good for Ptychoptera contaminata.
