| | | Some IDs and confirmation please I took these at Fen Drayton. Some, I am fairly confident about - others I don't have clue despite a troll through my books.
No idea
I have this down as a blue tailed damselfly m
I take this dramatic couple are common blue damselflies
Is this a black tailed skimmer or a broad bodied chaser - or neither
There is also this moth?
Finally, this black damselfly - the nearest I can come to is a dark form female variable dragonfly
Thanks

| | | Re: Some IDs and confirmation please The first damselfly is definitely a Blue-tailed Damselfly, but I think it's a blue-form female. The mating pair are Common Blue Damselflies, the dragonfly is a female Scarce Chaser, the last damselfly is a female Blue-tailed Damselfly and
your moth is actually a butterfly, a male Large Skipper.
It's a nice set of shots
