I recon this is Ephemera vulgata - triangular dark markings.
Taken on the River Avon between Bristol and Bath
I've tried seaching the the web for mayflies and soon found myself in deep water - the sort trout fishermen wade in  , and all the mayflies were made of feathers and fish hooks

I would say Dun (male) E vulgata. There are only 2 others E. danica and E. lineata which is very rare. John Goddards Waterside Guide is a good book for id.
