strange bee behaviour
My son spotted these bees this evening not sure what is going on does anyone have any idea?

They're not bees, they're hoverflies,Volucella bombylans probably. Presumably they're mating - what did you imagine they were doing? I suppose if you thought they were worker bees you might have been puzzled.

certainly was as I did think they were bees doing what comes naturally then!
