| | | Mayfly ID required Hi Everyone,
Last week a found what i thought was a Mayfly skin on a plant, today on the same plant i found a Mayfly but i can't ID it, the closest match i can find is Cloeon Dipterum. Any ideas?
Thanks.

| | | Re: Mayfly ID required Steve, this is the first time i've come across one, they really are very detailed in appearance, the only thing i've managed to find out about them so far is some have two tails and some have three.
I look foreward to finding out a bit more
Cheers.

Gray. | sp. = species singular
spp. = species plural
ie.
is this a Cloeon sp.
or
is this one of the Cloeon spp.
Does that help or just confuse things more? |
