| | [ID] 4mm black + red insect (Drawing) H all,
Sorry, no photo - just a drawing. 3/6/09 Black + red 4mm insect... ...no idea of family! - Black, teardrop-shaped in body with a red mark on the back
- 4mm long, smaller than a black ant.
- When it turns a corner, the body curves slightly at the rear, thinnest part
- Often seen on paving slabs, doesn't really stop...
It's an insect I used to be fascinated by as a child, but I haven't really seen it for a few years - most likely through not looking! I recently saw it again and since then, several more times.
Any help appreciated! Anything whatsoever... in the meantime I'll try for a photo - but never had any luck yet!
Thanks for reading.
Take care,
Jason |

Thanks Dan, it's one I've seen around in excess of 15yrs and always liked - knew you'd get it!
