| | | Re: [ID] Bug on shaded bramble patch please! Not enough detail to run through my Bug ID Key book but, to me, it resembles one of the many Mirid Bugs (Miridae) but I can't put a name to it. The Pine Cone Bug or one of it's relatives (Gastrodes) might also be worth a check.
But hopefully a more experienced person will come to your aid soon. |

| | | Re: [ID] Bug on shaded bramble patch please! This is one of the flower bugs, Anthocoris sp. The species are very tricky to tell apart, but it looks like either nemoralis or confusus, rather than the extremely common A. nemorum. |

| | | Re: [ID] Bug on shaded bramble patch please! Well, I'll remember the antennaes for the next time! I forgot, I found it by the said brambles by a fallen 18-in branch from the tree that makes the area shaded. It's deciduous, but I don't know the type. I can upload a photo of the tree if that could seperate the two?
Thanks again! | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
