beetles for id
Hi, can anyone help with these? They were all taken yesterday beside the Adur estuary, Shoreham-by-Sea, West Sussex. Some on the shore, some on the raised bank which was chalk based with various rubble on top.

Heterocerus maritimus ?
swept from Sea Purslane with some Spergularia also present


Sibinia arenariae or phalerata ?
swept from Sea Purslane with some Spergularia also present



Lixus sanguineus ?
this little guy looked like a loose seed in the bottom of the net. With his beak and legs tucked and playing dead he went unnoticed. Then he moved....
swept from Sea Purslane - Halimione portulacoides



this one was flying about on the various plants that lined the bank.

the last one looks like Malachius bipustulatus

maybe curculio nucum for the second

third one also looks like a weevil
