Small Red damsel (male)?

Seen at Thursley Common today, just checking ID as I haven't photographed this species before. From my book the red legs should be the decider?.

Correct Toby.

The lack of any ante-humeral stripes, + the complete lack of any black marking on the abdomen also seperate this from Large Red (female Small Red do have black on the abdomen of course).

Also, if you don't mind me adding, the wing length. When folded back down the body, in Large Red, they almost reach the end 2 segments (9/10), in Small Red they are shorter and when folded reach approx segment 6.
