| | | Ichneumon? Had a visit from this beasty today, about 1 1/2 inches long and a nasty buzzing sound, I swiftly shepherded it out the window!
Some sort of Ichneumon I think with those red legs. |

| | | Re: Ichneumon? Yes that is possible. The waist appears a bit fat for an Ichneumon and the legs are possibly a bit long for a Sawfly.
So perhaps have a look at some Crane Flies, maybe Dictenidia or Ctenophora families. Try here first Diptera.info - Photo Albums: Tipulidae |
