[ID] Cream - black ichneumon wasp please!

Hi all,

I found this attractive little ichneumon today. Any thoughts, peoples? I've exhausted my usual avenues

28/5/09, c10:20am. In the garden

Cream and black in colour...
...about 10+mm

Ive had a look in my Library and I can't see it under Ichneuman but here is a site you will find usefull in the futureI have it in my bookmarks
Ichneumonidae - Ichneumoninae
I am going to try another route with it

Yes, that's what I thought, Bruce. I considered a scorpionfly (never seen one...) initially, until I saw it closer! The photos are poor; It was in the shade so it's blurred from low shutter speed, too much zoom into the add-on lens has increased distortion and the Automatic Correction has upped the contrast too much!

In the same area a minute later I saw one of them green sawflies too (Another first...) but missed it with the camera - too much time trying to get the manual focus on it!
