| | waspish fly ID? This lovely chap was in the greenhouse a couple of days ago.
Looks waspish, but may well not be of course - it was a strongly marked body of yellow and 4 black stripes, plus strongly reddish legs and antennae.
The squares are .5mm across for size in the viewing pot.
Sorry abut the pics - it was very active!

Chinery has a pic (not a very good one!) of N. flava showing very brown antennae, so yes, this looks of that type, thanks Oxy.
Will do some more googling.
