Hi Bruce,
It's a relatively faintly-marked Eupteryx aurata - can be confused with atropunctata, but as usual your photo is good enough to be pretty sure.

Do you think that the light markings are down just natural variation or will they get darker with age?

Probably just variation, Bruce - some parts are very dark already, and I think the teneral ones tend to be pale all over. I'm forever being surprised by these though, so I wouldn't swear to it.
