Unidentified Dragon Fly Husk
Haven't seen too many dragon flies this year although plenty of damsels to photograph.
The only positive ID I have had is a Broad Bodied Chaser.

I have been checking the reeds looking for signs for the past couple of weeks but it took my daughter to spot this beauty.



Can anyone ID this for me please

It is usually hard to identify exuviae from a single photo, but I'm 99% sure that this is from an Emperor Dragonfly Anax imperator.

I'm obviously still learning
I have now had a look through the Gallery at Emperor photos so I'm a little more clued in.
Hope to spot an adult soon.
