| | | Azure Damselflies? Mating - Help with ID Needed I had about 7 or 8 damselflies by my small pond yesterday. A couple of Large Reds but mainly these, which I think are Azure damselflies (?).
The males were literally "jumping" on any females that passed by... (what's new eh!  )
Very chuffed as the pond was only dug last year... and I live in the centre of a large urban village.
I must admit I find the second picture funny. It's as thought the hoverfly is saying "and what's going on here then?"
