Dragonlyfly larva eating a damselfly

I was visiting one of my local natures reserves today when I stopped to photograph some damselflies oviposting. The female had her tail in the water when suddenly she was grabbed from below by a dragonfly larva . It slowly ate her from the tail end towards the head at the same time pulling her into the water. The male damselfly flew off and eventually all that was left were her wings. I managed to take a series of photographs the best are shown below. The dragonfly larva is the green “blob “ you can see in the water. The shots are not the best but wanted to share something that I may never see again
