| | | Id of this strange insect hi Can someone help identify this rather large chap. Its on its back and is quite large it appears to have a hard shell and has wings which it keeps using to try and get up again. It has really piercing eyes - its very scary to me and took all my nerve to take this photo - I know I'm a wimp!!!
Any help would be appreciated - I will try and go and turn it over so it can be on its way - actually might get hubby to do it |

This Cockchafters was as you say amazing - it was soooo scary at first but hey he may look big and strange lookiing but he cant hurt - I still used a brush end to turn him over
I love this site its wonderful and so informative I'm getting to like finding strange insects now cause I know I can always get help from here.
