| | | Re: I don't know where to start with this! Parasitised aphid, is what comes to my mind. Saw some on an oak today, whilst trying to get some gall photos perched on a step ladder.

"Mummified" aphid, parasitised by a wasp grub.
I only know because I found one a week or so ago. Distinctive aphid on bramble.
