| | | Mayfly for ID please! Hello,
I've had a wonderful day out watching all of the insects lose their docile states and start becoming very active. I was so chuffed when I spotted this Mayfly and the Nymph case (I presume?) latches on to some grass. I was wondering if anyone could ID him for me?
All help, comments and suggestion much appreciated,
Nick |

| | | Re: Mayfly for ID please! The dun hatches in water from nymph and the spinner emerges from Dun to lay eggs and start the life cycle again. Photo shows Dun and emerged Spinner.
Nice photo Nick.

| | | Re: Mayfly for ID please! Fascinating aren't they!?
I'll have to re-edit that image before uploading it- I didn't realise it was so heavily saturated
Re-edited and hopefully a little more natural looking!
Nick
