| | | Re: need help about dragonfly larvae I would avoid using tadpoles as amphibians are on a decline at the moment, using other pond life would be more benificial. Possibly buying shrimps or maggots from fish food/Angling shops could be a possibility. They will eat a wide range of organisms. It would be hard to predict an emergence date if you did post a photo, you could say roughly by the size. Also we would be able to say what species it was. |

One question I do have, how do you know there is only 20 in your local lake?
I would love to watch/photograph the emergence, just need to get up early and find one to watch!

You really would be better to try to get there early and catch it in its natural surrounding that would make a better pic surely.. |
