I can't believe I couldn't recognize this fly, I actually posted a photo of one not more than a week ago on WAB.

Janet  | Janet, this'll be a Dancing Fly in the Empididae family then? Wayne, you'll probably see a long 'feeding tube' just going from the chin to between the front legs? Also, the legs are pretty long.
It does, however, share the thin abdomen of the Anthomyiidae family! That's why I thought it was a RMF. My pointers are just from hindsight
