Nomada sp., lots of them!

I have uploaded Nomada bee pics of different ones I have had this year. For ease of ID I have given each a number, in some cases I have given the same number to a bee if it looks the same but taken on a different day, or if I think it's a male and female of the same species.

There's only one male and female amongst all of them! I think! At first I thought I had a female N. goodeniana but counted the antennae segments and it seems to be male! The yellow on the face can be seen on one pic.

This is not going to be easy as I have 17 numbers, some which look similar I found to be different by the yellow abdominal marks being slightly different, I will try to point that out as I go.

First two same male (1) with no thorax spots which I named N. goodeniana as well as the following,




Male (2) with faint spots


Male (3) with complete top abdominal band



Male (4) with partially broken top abdominal band

Male (5) N. goodeniana with broken top band,


Male (6) with no black on the antennae


A male (7) with apparently no yellow spots on thorax, and looks to have a different shaped head to N. goodeniana.

Male (11) looks like N. goodeniana but there looks to be browinsh 'spots' on the thorax. Taken on 17th April

Male I think the same as (12). Taken on 17th April about 8 minutes later.

Male (13) Taken on 22nd April. It was buzzing around with a female (13) at the same time. Very small compared to the female.

Male (14) taken on 23rd April (2 pics) I thought this looked like N. leucophthalma.

Male (14) l think is ruficornis - all the rest look like goodeniana or flava types but I'm sure I've missed something! Nomada overload

Thanks Tristan, ruficornis looks good too! I had thought the rest were as you say, but then I also have Nomada overload!

Male (15) has very large red 'spots' or lumps on the thorax compared to others which have none or barely any.
