| | | Beetle under rock I Found this beetle under a rock in an old Cotswold limestone quarry, anyone know what it is? Probably about 1.5cm body length.

| | | Re: Beetle under rock I found one of these last year, It was under Ivy. Most of the other records i know of this species have been found with Ivy. Other records have been from inside an House.
Apparently this species is Nationally Scarce B, so your local record centre would be interested in this find |

| | | Re: Beetle under rock Yes as Fauna say's it is a nationally scarce species although with a wide distribution. Larvae feed in decaying wood and adults are usually seen at flowers they feed on pollen. |
