I have never seen a black shieldbug. What is the bug that the crab spider has caught. That little fly or wasp slowly crept up on the spider. The spider was obviously aware of it, and I was surprised it didn't leave it's meal to deal with it, it simply flicked a back leg and brushed it off. The fly/wasp went round the back and approached from the front. It was after sharing the spiders meal, and after a very slow approach, it did. Thanks. Les.
