Mystery object
Found this under a stone on top of a wall. Not sure if this is the hind end of a beetle or a pupal case. About 10mm long - there is an opening bottom left.

Any ideas ?

Looks like pupa case of a beetle of somesort.

If I had to guess I'd say it was the abdomen of a weevil. No head or thorax - just the abdomen. See small black weevil - Orchestes pallicornis - BugGuide.Net (just as an example) for comparison
