| | | Another stone clinger This one was much larger, about 25mm long overall. I think it's one of the Ecdyonurus species because the pronotum has backward pointing lateral projections and there is no dark spot on the pronotum, probably E.venosus ( the False March Brown ).
Has anyone any idea what's wrong with it's left eye ? Looks as if its made of lots of little bubbles. Quite alot of debris around head - not sure whether this is connected with the appearance of the eye. |
