Which shieldbug?

Okay .... it's a shieldbug, yes?

A nymph, possibly third or fourth instar?

But which species? Maybe Hawthorn? Or Birch?

Any ideas gratefully received ....

I'd say the birch, Elasmostethus interstinctus: I think it's the only one that has those red dorsal marks in most (all?) nymphal stages.

I would agree that it's nymph of Birch Shieldbug.
