Is this a Meadow Brown?

I took this photo in the Belfast Harbour Estate in May 2007. I think it looks like a Meadow Brown but the colour of the spots and the light coloured wings look different from other pics of Meadow Browns. Can anyone tell me what it is and why it looks like this?

Excellent. Many thanks for the ID. I think this is my first pic of a small heath. I was almost going to ditch the photo as it looked me (wrongly) like a faded Meadow Brown. But then what do I know. Very little I suppose.

It's a lovely shot of a Small Heath John. The markings are very similar to a Meadow Brown. If you are lucky enough to see them both together the Small Heath is quite a bit smaller than a Meadow Brown as well.
