Solitary Bee
Hi Folks,
I was out at Fowlmead to-day and while walking through a Birch grove I saw this Bee comming out of a hole in the ground, there were about 6 other holes arround the roots of a young Birch Tree,
The nearest I can to get ID'ing it is B. Pascorum, because of the colour of the thorax but I'm not 100% sure, would appreciate some help on this,

It is a female Andrena clarkella. The pollen will be exclusively that of Willow (Salix sp.)

Thank you for the speedy reply, much appreciated,
There were willows arround the edge of the copse, and they are one of the first to bud in the spring,
I'll amend the Gallery pics now
