Beautiful apricot coloured leafhopper

Northants garden.

This leafhopper was under the lens for about 15 seconds before it took flight. Usually I fiddle about for ages trying to get the best angle etc. Fortunately this time I shot as soon as I thought I had focus so at least I got one pic of it - although consequently not all of it is in sharp focus.

Help with identification appreciated as always.

This is Balclutha punctata - another leafhopper which commonly overwinters. You have found it before if I remember rightly? The colouration can be very variable.

Thanks Tristan - Hmmmm.....I'm pretty sure this is the first time I've seen this species. I just did a quick search on the forum and both Gerel (Steve) and Acutipuerilis (Joe) have logged this species in 2009. I photographed another one today but haven't checked it on the monitor yet.
