| | | Bug on the washing line last summer, ID needed! This little fella was on the washing in the garden last year, I've been curious as to the species ever since. I'm pretty clueless if it doesn't have fur or feathers! |

To me it looks like a beetle, order Coleoptera. It reminds me of a Chafer beetle, family Scarabidae. I'd go for an old, worn Cockchafer, but wait for another opinion |

I'm pretty clueless if it doesn't have fur or feathers!  | I don't think it's a weevil, my guess is that it's a beetle from the Scarabaeidae family, something like (although I don't think it is) the Garden Chafer - Phyllopertha horticola. Hopefully one of the beetle experts will be along soon to give a better id!
