Question [ID] Empty snail shell please
Hi WAB'ers,

A quick snail requires ID please!! I have three angle shots with a comparison...

1. Front Side
I'm not too sure how old the shell is... the snail's long dead

Quite cracked!

The spiral doesn't point that much

4. Comparison
On the left: This snail in question, 12mms On the right: Discus rotundatus I believe, 5.5mms

Conditions: A dry, empty, faded shell found under a stone path...

Sizes: 12mm across shell.

Date: Today, 26th February 2009. No idea of specimen's age.

I have retained both specimens.

I would really appreciate any assistance here!!

Perhaps Oxychilus draparnaudi

and yes the other is Discus rotundatus
