Golden Brown Soldier Beetle for ID
I took this photo in the Belfast Harbour Estate on 26th May 2007. It looks like some type of a Soldier Beetle to me but different in colour to any others that I have photographed. ID anyone?

Its Neogalerucella lineola not a soldier beetle but one of the leaf beetles (Chrysomelidae).

P.S Also known as Galerucella lineola

It just shows that a little knowledge is dangerous. Just when you think you know how to identify a soldier beetle it turns out to be something else. Thanks Dogghound for putting me right.

I've looked on Google to find a common name. Am I right in saying that it is a Brown Willow Beetle?

Yes its usually found on willows. But its misleading as with most insects they can fly so turn up all over.
